There are really two totally different operations in this area although, as a visitor, reserves are so large that you’ll never come across Landela’s camps if you’re riding, or vice versa. Here I’ll treat them separately.
The following five safari camps are run by Landela Safaris, based originally in Zimbabwe. They’re fairly simple camps by Botswana’s standards, in areas that don’t have the best game densities – which are reflected by their relatively moderate prices. The camps here may be perfectly suited to keen birdwatchers on modest budgets who aren’t that motivated by game sightings.
