There are plenty of take-aways around town, but for evening meals the main hotels are best. The Mukuba's restaurant is good, though not cheap, and there is a choice of three bars if you feel in need of a drink.

The South African 'Steers' chain has one of its usual steak-or-burger restaurants in the Broadway Centre here. Its decor is no better than the rest of that chain, but its food is reliably good – if you fancy steaks, burgers and salads. Alternatively consider one of the following:

Hong Kong Restaurant
