Chingola is the end of the Copperbelt, beyond which you either proceed north towards Lubumbashi in DRC, or head west towards Solwezi and Mwinilunga.

Where to stay

There are two basic hotels in town. Both are adequate, though most visitors try to get out to the Chimfunshi Orphanage, below.

Musunshya Hotel
(19 rooms) Katanga Rd, Box 10021, Chingola; tel: 02 311115 or 311115. The Musunshya makes a point of being the cheapest hotel in town, and has 19 rooms, all fairly simple with en-suite facilities.
