What to see and do

The chimps are divided between the two main, large enclosures and a variety of large cages and small enclosures around the Siddles' farmhouse. These, and the places that you might stay, are spread around the farm – making some form of vehicle very useful here if you have one; you can walk between places, but it takes a while!

As commented, Chimfunshi isn't set up as a conventional attraction for visitors – so there are no activities already planned or scheduled. However, it's often possible to go and watch the feeding time at the enclosures – and this enables you to see the two groups of chimps at close quarters. Anything else really depends on how well you get on with the family at Chimfunshi…

Rates: Visiting the chimp enclosures costs US$10 per person per trip
