South of Ridgeway, opposite the teaching hospital, between Chire Close and Dama Close, the YWCA is easy to find. It accepts both men and women to stay. Rooms are small (there are no singles) and very basic, and the communal cooking, washing and toilet facilities are none too clean. There's a restaurant for simple meals, a craft shop, and the University Teaching Hospital's morgue across the street, so you can expect plenty of noise when mourners collect their dead in the early mornings.
