Theoretically this is reached by motorboat from Chunga Safari Village – although when I arrived to visit it, the motor didn't want to work and so we couldn't get there. However, I'm told that it has five double-storey, thatch-on-brick chalets, which have their beds on the top storey, and a bathroom and shower below. There are apparently a team of four at the lodge looking after it.

Given my own experience, as well as other allegations about the owner, I would find it hard to recommend this operator or lodge without a number of caveats.
