There are various other waterfalls in the area, including the narrow but spectacular cascades of Mulembo Falls (GPS: MULEMB), reached by turning off at Kalwa Farm sign, 12km northeast of the Serenje turn-off. From there drive 4km, until just before the self-catering guesthouse, then turn left and immediately right. It's then just over 5km to a rounded, domed rock, and a further 6.2km to the falls themselves. The right track leads to the falls, whilst straight on will take you to the river.

Another place that would be interesting to reach is danger hill – where there is apparently a monument and a waterfall on the Lwitikila River. However, I've not been able to find reliable directions to these, and haven't visited them myself.
