The Ngulu (also known as the Ngulu-Ta-Utoya) is a few kilometres south of the centre, on the left as you head towards Senanga just before the turning to Shoprite. It's an old-style hotel that's still used for a lot of local conferences – though it could do with being refurbished. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms with toilets and baths. The car park is at the front, set above the main road (with a good view of the floodplains), and has a guard on duty. They can arrange laundry, and will accept credit cards and travellers' cheques, albeit at a premium of about 10%.
