On the south side of the road from Kaoma/Lusaka, about 2km from the main crossroads at the centre of Mongu, this is currently about the best place in town (GPS:CROSSR). It has 13 fairly small but very clean and functional rooms – all with en-suite shower and flush toilet, remote-control TV and air-conditioning. There's a pleasant bar here, in the courtyard, and the parking is very secure behind an electric gate. Note that they're keen on having the bills for rooms paid in advance, and that smoking in rooms is not allowed. Breakfast costs around Kw10,000, but the service is slow and the food unimpressive.
