About 6km from the city, this hotel is ideal if you arrive late from Kafue National Park. All the rooms have an en-suite shower or bath, and toilet, and the décor (or at least the art dotted around) tries hard to be original and Zambian. There is a pool and tennis court. The Garden House is perhaps notable as the place where the MMD political party was started in 1990.
