Elephant Hills is a large brick complex of very modern design which rose, phoenix-like, from the ashes of a hotel that was burned down during the struggle for Zimbabwe's independence. Sadly it was then damaged by another fire, but has now been completely renovated and is open for business. It has superb facilities, as expected from a large hotel complex, to complement its view over the Zambezi.
