Another recent addition to the activity menu is guided quad-bike (four-wheeled motorbikes) excursions operated by the Livingstone Quad Company, a joint venture between Batoka Sky and Voyagers. Options include the 'eco-trail' at 'Batoka Land' (starting at Maramba Aerodrome), consisting of 42 acres in and around the unfenced portion of the national park, or venturing out into the bush to explore African villages and the landscape by the Zambezi gorges. This is a fun and leisurely way to explore the bush at your own pace on your own all-terrain vehicle. No experience is required; quad bikes are easy to operate and participants are given an introduction and chance to practise before heading out on the trail of their choice. All trips are accompanied by a qualified guide.
