Tree-Tops River

(3 tree houses) PO Box 60889, Livingstone; tel/fax: 03 321772, Botswana cell: 267 71 646064; email: mail@tree-tops.com; www.tree-tops.com, or contact via Zambezi Royal Chundu, below.
Tree-Tops is immediately adjacent to its sister property, Zambezi Royal Chundu, and is also run by the Morze family. It shares facilities like the pool, bar, restaurant, boats, etc with Chundu. Here you'll find three private tree houses, built on wooden decks raised on stilts above the Zambezi under an enormous canopy of waterberry trees. Each has stunning river views from a private balcony. Two sleep four (as twins or doubles) and the third has three twin bedrooms, ideal for families or groups. Walkways link the tree houses to their private, though landlocked, bathrooms, set on higher ground for environmental reasons. The three-room unit has two private bathrooms. Tree-Tops offers the full range of activities, like Royal Chundu, though all are at extra cost. These chalets aim to be a simpler and more economical alternative to the luxury lodge for visitors who are driving themselves, fishing or simply relaxing by the river.
